Checking the upper floor

So far I haven't start nothing on the upper floor.

No windows, very dark.

This is camera eye.

This is human's eye.

Very dirty, dusty. I have to sweep and clean up.

Footprints by animal.

I don't know how long does it takes to clean up this house.

What I don't wanna see ...

I have no idea.

I have already started cleaning it.

It's been horrible, terrible, awful work ! Most disgusting ever in my life, you know.

Because there was a some gift from former occupant.

Need to have a break

Water way to a mountain torrent in front of the farmhouse.

I found  a old stone monument in approach.

Amazing ! Wonderful ! I love it.

It was carved 庚申 and 文政 in big one.

Very hard to read it, because moss covered it.

文政 means age or period 1813 to 1830.

庚申講 is a all night party of a community, a few or several times in a year.

Unfortunately it was lost already. It was popular at Edo era.

Small shrine above. A tutelary deity.

Looking pretty good in picture, but still dusty.

Please don't take off your shoes.

Nobody can live in this ruin. Only insects or something.

I have to get rid of these unwelcome guests.

Rain leaking on upper floor. It's crumbling.

My teacher who owned this house told me that I have a old farmhouse.

She is just wanting some manager to keep this house.

When I came here first time in May, too much dusty, I didn't know what to do.

She also came here for the first time in 5 years. Then she has started to sweep floors.

So I helped her to cleaning the rooms if it's impossible to finish during that day.

But today, my impression was not so bad. Actually, cleaning is important.

 Cleaning was not completely, need to continue,

but I have changed my mind. I will keep this house.

I think I can visit once or twice a month.

I will Keiko Kenjutsu here and make Bokken for me and my budo friends.

May 3rd 2014, I took a vacation.

From Tokyo station to Takasaki Gunma prf.

By Shinkansen. 

Which one do I have to save, money or time ?

I save my time.

It takes about 50 minutes. Other local train will takes about 2 hours.

Then my destination is Shimonita town, it takes about 90 minutes from Takasaki by local train or car. I have been driving a rental car this time.

Heading to Kuriyama village. It takes 10 more minutes.

Yeah !  An old farmhouse. Nobody home for 5 years.
It's very dusty, many remains of insects, firefly and cobwebs !
It's just a ruin.
I have been sweeping, cleaning, working very hard.

Last month, April 12, we have had 32nd Kobudo Enbu.
The organizer changed place. It's first time to holding here. It's fitting !

At the same time, we have had a few wedding ceremony.

See a bridegroom who wearing black cloth in Japanese wedding style.

They are international couple with everybody's blessings.
