It's very good quality white oak, hard and heavy.

It will be 2-5-? long

 Hard wood damaged a handsaw.

Perhaps I need 2 more new detachable blades.

I have finished this year's work.

My friend is performing Shinkage-ryu Kenjutsu.

My teachers performed Hayashizaki-ryu.

Chokugen-ryu.

For the last 10 years, it is fine at November 3rd.

And very warm in 21st century.

Yabusame.

My Bokken

I have made my bokken. 2尺-3寸-8分 long.

This is perfectly Kanbun Shintou style.

Guest has come occasionally.

Another one.

2-4-0 long. Not mine.

It was unseasonable weather in this summer.
From middle of August, it was rainy or cloudy  almost everyday for a few weeks. 

That was so humid.

Tachi 3尺3寸3分 (1010mm)

A blade length 1010mm long.

From left to right 3-3-3, 2-8-0, 2-4-0

Tachi 2尺 9寸 8分 (903mm)

All done

A blade length 903mm long.

A hilt length 313mm long.

A narrow blade.

It's deep curvature by Koshi-zori, very good handling !!!

Small Shrine

So mysterious

When I was looking for cherry-blossoms,

I found small shrine.

The Foxes.

This is what they are watching.

Maybe I was led by them.

Nobody will visit here any longer but me.
